GTR MFD Screen on GTT

To all the GTT owners what do you think about the title? You may think...come on  man are you out of senses. That is not possible errrrr maybe its possible. Yeah...it is just some tweaks here and there. Put the magic touch and you will have the GTR MFD on your GTT.
First of all get hold of the MFD screen then we can talk about the rest. I would say nope get all other required parts to make this possible first. Get things sorted out on your shopping list which will make sure the MFD will function. I am not going to list all the required parts at the moment, maybe later.
So why talking about this now? I have a plan.....drafted carefully taking into consideration of possible flaws in the  design and implementation. Well aren't we suppose to see a GTT with a GTR MFD any soon. I don't know. Just thought of the idea.

.........I am back, now I have completed the transformations of the GTR MFD to my GTT. The items below is a must in your shopping list. Please note that in order to watch Video via the MFD unit we can just just connect the video cable directly to the MFD unit( no modification needed). Also for the reverse/forward camera function as well. There no reason to invest in a high end DVD player in your car if you have the MFD installed.

1. MFD harness
2. Cables
3. Connectors
4. MFD cover
5. Screws to hold  the unit
6. and of course the MFD unit.

Tools,
1. Soldering iron
2. Lead
3. Shrinking tube
4. Pliers/Cutter
5. Wire stripper

Nevertheless you may need TIME to complete this task. I will upload the photo of all the parts/tools individually later, for now just the MFD in ACTION.

I do have the cables, and some other parts to let go. Also a spare MFD unit.

Reconnecting

Yes, it has been a little while since I have posted. I was busy sorting out on some important things. I am just curious about all the GTR and GTT owners in regards of R31,R32, R33, R34 or R35 and also for the future GTR's. What is your plan for up keeping of the cars. Well I am not sure......but we have to have some basic idea of what and how we are going to maintain the car.
Well I assure that not all of  us will be stocking up important and critical parts for any emergency use. Of course this will drain our cash flow pretty much. We need some reliable source to obtain our parts and also a reliable and trusted workshop.
I assume that by now all of you know that you can find most parts on-line. How many of you trust the sites that the products that you have ordered online is genuine. Would you consider if you can view the parts and the price is reasonable before buying them. In this case you have the option to turn down the offer after viewing the parts. Also I would like to stress that you can build a trust with the person that you are dealing with. You as a customer have the edge to decide.
I am not going to drag on this any more...I am leaving this to all of you. Please decide wisely before making any decisions.

Until we meet in another post... cheers take care of you and your ride.
